Chico is a rural town and is a great place to raise your kids - whether you are a person or a horse! With a warm, hometown flavor, Chico is a peaceful place. Most folks just love living here.

There is a beautiful, green little park in the middle of town and most Saturday nights, during good weather, there is a dance or performance. Chico State students and area residents like to dance, meet people, and relax in the park here.
